For a while now, as part of the encouragement given to our church, Gill and I have been using the McCheyne Bible Reading program for daily devotions.  This program was developed by Robert Murry McCheyne in the 19th Century and gives an excellent methodology for reading through the Bible more than once in the year.

I’ve now added McCheyne Reading Plan functionality to this site.  You can get ready access to it, and the ESV text for the day, at this page: http://briggs.id.au/jour/dailybible/

You can also subscribe to the RSS feed to have the readings delivered to your subscription service.

It’s very much in beta.  If you make use of this service, please let me know if anything breaks for you.
