Excellent interview with Archbishop Greg Venables, former primate of the Southern Cone. His has always been a forthright voice in the Anglican tumult.
Of particular note is his reference to GAFCON in the light of the non-attendance at this year’s Primates’ Meeting in Dublin. My paraphrase – “We are not here to fight liberalism. We’ve got better things to do!” I think this echoes GAFCON’s recent push to be perceived as more positively a vehicle for gospel purposes than negatively as a reaction to revisionism.
