As Rodney Croome mentions, A new Tasmanian law recognising civil partnerships and same-sex marriages from other places comes into effect today. It makes perfect sense to do this.  Now, can we stop trying to redefine marriage and get on with with the job of engaging reality with our bureaucracy?
